Since 2015, I have successfully shared my loft and established enduring friendships with students as a way to maintain a connection to my alma mater and provide the sort of dignified place to come home to that I sought to find when I was a student at Columbia. Although this share is ideal for a GSAPP architecture student seeking a healthy/inspiring alternative to 24/7 studio life, it works quite well for any student who is new to New York City, focused on their studies and seeks a clean, no drama place to come home to in Manhattan.
